For some, cute food is more than just a passing trend… it’s a way of life. Thailand-based doctor and food artist Nawaporn Pax Piewpun creates adorable, edible characters by shaping colorful balls of rice, each one designed as a lovable figure to accompany bento boxes and bowls. Known as onigiri, Piewpun often depicts beloved pop culture personalities including Totoro, Pikachu, and a Storm Trooper from Star Wars.
