Delicate Silk Portraits on Porcelain

Diem Chau, a Vietnamese artist who came to settle down in the United States with her parents, is the author of these delicate portraits on china. By using silk threads, she creates on plates or glasses metaphors of the memory, the ephemeral, the gesture and the form. Her work, at the same time sensitive and minimalist, is a story around what is forgotten or faded.
