Charity Jewelry Collection of Meals & Desserts

For charity, Argentinian art director Micaela Gallino founded Foodxury : an initiative which helps the homeless people through the selling and creation of tasty jewels. With the baseline “Food becomes a luxury when you don’t have it”, this jewelry collection reveals the importance of food for an alarming number of people that can’t affort it. Living in New York, she noticed that this city was the first of food waste with numerous people in the streets (approximatively 60 000). She gives her jewels to homeless people who sell her jewels to be able to buy a meal. The jewels stage meals and desserts like a lemon or blueberry cake, waffles, hot-dogs, spaghettis and little cupcakes.
